Our last day here we slept in while it was snowing and enjoyed the peaceful sound of the water.
My wife and I found this little gem on our way from Florida to Snow Shoe for a quick getaway.
Again we had a great stay, always like to give them our bus.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights just for a nice get away. The cabins are located perfectly so that you are not too far away from a lot of different hikes or from some very nice towns. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The cabin was perfect for us being a studio style cabin with all of your utensils that you need for your stay provided. The area around the cabin is beautiful and very peaceful and the cabins are very nicely placed so that they are not too close together. The only small issue was the early morning construction but I do understand that they seem to be expanding the area. I would most certainly recommend the Barnett Cabins to other travelers they are wonderful.
We stayed a cute one bedroom which had a gas fireplace and was nestled near the stream. What a phenomenal find.
Mr. Barnett was amazingly kind (Gus, his dog is pretty cool too) and gracious and we thank him for making this place available to us.
I stayed here 3 times total. Loved this little hole in the wall place! Nice cabins. Beautiful little creek. Good prices and near by attractions within an hours drive. Beautiful scenery, trout fishing on sight. Would love to go back.
We enjoyed that it was away from all the people at the resort and were happy that it was so close to the scenic highway.
